Since 1993
In 1993 Dave Moline started what until recently was called Prior Lake Auto Collision. Dave was very family oriented and highly involved in the community. His dedication to doing the job right and with the least amount of stress was his focus and way of doing business. Dave treated customers and employees with the utmost respect resulting in loyalty all the way around. Prior Lake Collision has served over 20,000+ customers in Prior Lake and the surrounding communities until his passing in 2021.
Continuing in family traditions The Stiele family acquired Prior Lake Collision now operating as Collision Center One Prior Lake. Floyd Stiele started Hopkins Auto Body 1 back in 1962. His sons Ed, Jerry, and Dale took over the business and ran it until a few years ago. Currently, Jerald Stiele, Floyd's grandson, runs the business with many of the employees who have been here for years! Jerald is a third generation employee of Hopkins Auto Body 1. Hopkins Auto Body 1 began with a passion for cars and helping customers. We enjoy a large customer base of very loyal clients, because we have such a rich history.
